Has anyone used the -n option on mqsideleteconfigmgr?
Here what the manual says:
-n (Optional) Deletes the configuration repository. Be very careful using this option. The configuration repository contains the configuration data for the whole broker domain, not just data internal to the Configuration Manager. Deleting this repository destroys all information pertinent to the broker domain, and requires you to re-create every resource within it to recover the broker domain.
I did this to test, but by the sounds of the above, recreating another cfg mgr won't restore everything.. |

Recreating the configuration manager will create the tables that are used to store data related to broker domain etc.,
Broker domain data cannot be restored by recreating the configuration manager. _________________ Nyzam

Unless you have a database backup of the configmgr database, you will have to delete and recreate all of your brokers, and then re-register them. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
