Hi Everybody,

while doin my scenario ,i come across one situation where i have to change the default time format from "yyyy.MM.dd HH:mm:ss ZZZ" to
"MM.dd.yy HH:MM::ss ZZZ".Suggest me if any direct method is there to convert apart from Extracting each feild from CURRENT_TIMESTAMP and appending as i required. When i am extracting each field i am getting month - date - year as '8 - 28 - 2005' instead of '08-28-05'.So can you suggest me how to recify this problem.

Thank You.

There is one more method in which if you parse the field with the message Set of XML format. And defined the format in it . Will change as required.

There was sample code posted here, probably several years ago, that handled the padding of date fields.

I believe it did things like add 100 to two digit values, and the cast as char and substringed the last two characters...
