HI ALL,

I WANT TO APPEND CURRENT TIME TO MY MESSAGE COMING FROM MQinput NODE.AFTER CASTING CURRENT TIME AS CHAR,IT IS DISPLAYING AS " TIMESTAMP '2005-08-25 11:32:49.148' ".
I NEED ONLY TIMESTAMP,WHY "'" IS COMING ON BOTH SIDES OF CURRENT TIME? HOW TO REMOVE THEM?

PLEASE READ THE DOCUMENTATION.

Do you understand what ' is? Do you understand XML?

Have you tried this to see if it works anyway?

Have you looked at the section in the manual on TIMESTAMPs? Do you understand what an "implicit cast" is?

Have you searched here for other postings about TIMESTAMPs?
