My name is Jeannie LaDriere and I’m the Internet Research Manager with Object Systems Group. Object Systems Group (OSG) helps the biggest companies solve their biggest problems using the best people... We are currently looking for a Senior MQSeries Expert to assist our client, one of the world’s largest financial services companies, with their enterprise-wide solution for allowing all of the client's applications to communicate with each other. This project is a real-world implementation of a piece of the enterprise architecture that numerous OSG consultants helped design over the past couple of years.
This project's end product will eventually replace the existing proprietary integration tool that facilitates communication amongst numerous critical systems, which heavily leverages Weblogic and JMS. Unlike the current tool, this application will not be Weblogic-based and will leverage IBM’s MQSeries instead of being solely reliant upon JMS. Therefore, it will run within and outside of a J2EE container.
This solid, senior-level engineer will work with the current on-site OSG Consultants to design, develop and implement a client-side API that will allow other projects to interact with the messaging middleware solution. This API will also be used to publish business events and provide synchronous query/response calls across the message-based interface. In effect, this person should have the ability to work fairly autonomously. We aren't looking for an MQ Administrator - we need someone who is an expert at making MQSeries work for development.
This position is based in Washington, DC, but some work in No. Virginia may be required. The client operates a free shuttle to help people travel between the two locations. Salary is based on experience and skills. This project is funded through 2005, but my be extended, dependent on an individual's performance.
If this is of interest to you please email me a copy of your current resume, together with a date you would be able to start a new assignment. If you are not ready to join us but know someone who may be, please forward this message. Or, could you refer me to someone else with a background similar to yours? Principals only please; no 3rd party vendors.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
