can any body give me some details on MQ transction with MQ Java base, DB2 8.2 (XA tranbsaction)...?
I read the Java doc (csqzaw13.pdf) and it is clear enough for follow easily....

I will use MQ to pick up msgs, then parse the msgs and then push the data to DB2 (after some business rules). If I failed due to many reasons, then I would like to rollback both MQ and DB2. This will need XA (multi-phase transactions).
I consulted MQ 6.0 book (the java one). and it has a few pages on this. However, it is not clear enough for me to config and write code easily. So I would like some body to give the details if any.
Hope this is clear on what I am try to accomplish...

There is some information in the System Administration manual on setting up WMQ for two-phase commits. You probably ought to look here rather than the Using Java manual. |
