I attempted to connect from our development box (xxxxx777) to the development queue, and I can not establish the connection for our Cache environment.
Here is what my log file contains after I attempt the connection.
MQInit: Tue Aug 23 11:04:27 2005
MQI: ImqQueueManager::connect failed with reason code 2059
MQInit: Tue Aug 23 11:04:47 2005
MQI: ImqQueueManager::connect failed with reason code 2059
Any Ideas?.Thank You in advance. |

2059 is the most basic MQ error in the book, it means you cannot connect to QM.
To solve it, do the following:
1. Read the literature.
2. If still unclear, search this forum for "2059" and read a little, the solution is out there. For example http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=23635&highlight=2059
If still no luck, post here if you're working client or server (if client post MQSERVER var), and a relevant piece of code. Also look for AMQERR01.LOG.
Next time first do these two, only then post. |
