Can someone let me know or point me to right documents on what are the factors impacting the deployment of WBI adapters - whether the adapter has to be installed on the broker machine or on the application machine.

What is the general practice when it comes to deploying the adapters and which is the best option?

Appreciate your help.

There is no specific document related to the adapters.

After opening the Adapter toolkit.

1.Create a ICL project.
2.Create the business objects(if there is any MO's to related to u r adapter add those)
3. Configure the Adapter configuration file(.cfg file)
4.In user projects Create Create a project uder Message broker projects and update it with correspondingt ICL project.
5. deploy the BO's to Message Borker workspace as Message set.
