Hi,

I have an XML-message with snippets like :

<Tag att="attributeValue">
tagValue
<\Tag>

these should be mapped to a fixed string like "attributeValue tagValue "

So I created the MRM-messageset for both and tried to use a mapping node.

The problem is the tagvalue ... this should be mapped with something like
InputRoot.MRM.Tag.*[1];

This seemed to work at first, but the attribute is optional, so it failed when the attribute wasn't there.

I ended up coding the whole thing in ESQL and handling the inputmessage in XML,
since one can use the FIELDVALUE function on an XML message.

Has anyone an idea on how to solve this with MRM and a mapping node ?

Tx
