Hi,

I was wondering if WBIMB does ddate validation when performing the following as I don't think it does?

CURRENT_DATE - CAST (timeAtCurr AS INTERVAL MONTH)

the above command gives me a bad date error if timeatcurr =2? this is due to the fact that there are only 30 days in June!

Is this correct behaviour? i was expecting the date to have been set at the 30th June?

any help appreciated.

You don't say what version / csd you are running, but I'm sure that this has been fixed at some point as an APAR and may well now be in a CSD (but I can't remember the version or the CSD). Try opening a PMR to get the fix (or search here to see if someone else has pasted the APAR number here somewhere).

Regards,
