Hi, I'm looking for a very simple application to test a messaging component in MQ. I'm looking to generate a series of messages with VB.Net and submit them to a running queue on the local machine.
I'm confused as to how to do that - the RedBook hasn't given me much help.
After importing amqmdnet.dll, do I need to create a queuemanager in VB, or a queue? In other words, can VB.Net directly open the queue on the local machine and just "put" directly there?
Also, for the messages, I'm just setting the test to be the time stamp - does it need to have other variables set?
Thanks,
James |

Go to the documentation menu and get Using .NET manual from the platform independent manuals.
Check out as well the samples delivered in the .NET directory
