Hello all,

I am using message broker tool v5.0.

When I try to deploy my message flow on the server, it shows deployment is success but at the end of the message following error is attached.

Code:
The Configuration Manager was unable to initiate the deploy.

Check the Broker Domain Administration Log Editor to
determine the current system state

In addition, it also shows Broker not running message in the alerts.
(Even I checked that the broker is running fine)

There are no errors logged in Broker Domain Administration Log Editor.

Plz guide me what to do ASAP.

Thanks and regards,

Maybe the experts didn't have time... Maybe they didn't notice your posting... Maybe most of them are in a different time zone... Maybe you didn't provide enough information to solve the problem in one go...

Is your broker using the same queue manager as the CM or a different one?

If it is using a different one, are there properly established and working channels between the two QMs? Are the channels running? Are there messages on the transmission queue?

Are there MQ related errors in the system log on the broker or the CM?

Hello Jeff,

thanks for the reply.
I am using same broker for QM and CM.
I have checked that all the channels are running properly.

I even uninstalled everything and reinstalled, but the problem persists.

One thing I would like to add, this problem started occuring after Window flashed message for "Low virtual memory". Even one of my colleague faced the same problem, but he was able to eradicate the problem by clean config.

Unfortunatly the same did'nt work for me.

Just for more updation, I am using pIII with 512 MB RAM. I have 2000 Prof. installed on my pc.

thanks and regards,

Just to clarify, you meant that you are using the same QM for broker and CM.

Then there are no channels to get in the way.

Do you see any messages on any queues that are named like SYSTEM.BROKER.*?

Are there any MQ related errors in the Event Log?

Not the Broker Domain Administration Log Editor.

The Windows Event Viewer. Start->Run->eventvwr, or "My Computer"->right click -> "Manage".

Look in the Application log.

Is the configmgr service user in the MQM group?

I think you need to enable configmgr tracing to find out what's going on.

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wbihelp/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/an01320_.htm

Either do this, or go back through your entire installation/configuration process and check each step against the documentation.
