MQ5.3 installed on Linux on Intel. How do I configure to automatically start the Queue Manager, Listener, and Channel when the server is booted?
-> The commands to start the queue manager, listener, and channel can be added to the rc.local file in the /etc/rc.d/ directory.
this is perfect, but when adding these two lines in the file:
export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.4.19
strmqm QM_LONDON1
I notice it said "you are not authorized"
which ID needs permissions to run this?
anyone have any experience with this? |

Try "man su".
Or ask your system administrator. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

thanks Jeff.
I don't have a System administrator because I am learning this at home on my own - but I did look at "man su"
I will try this:
su - mqm -c "cd /opt/mqm/bin; ./strmqm myqmgr " |
