Hi,
I have installed Rational Software Architect v 6.0. Now I want to install WBIMB Toolkit 5.1. But the readme file for Toolkit5.1 says that:
Quote: |
WARNING!
Install Message Brokers Toolkit Version 5.1 only if you have installed WebSphere Application Development Integration Edition Version 5.1. Do not install Version 5.1 if you have a previous level of WebSphere Studio Application Developer Integration Edition; for this you must use Message Brokers Toolkit Version 5.0, which is supplied with WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker and WebSphere Business Integration Event Broker Version 5.0. Message Brokers Toolkit Version 5.1 has identical function to Message Brokers Toolkit Version 5.0.

Will it be ok to install Toolkit5.1 on RSA 6.0?
My current level of WBIMB is WBIMB5.0 with CSD05 _________________ Vivek

You CAN'T install Toolkit inside RAD 6.
You CAN coexist the two. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

I've done it.
Granted, I don't remember the order I did the install in.
But Broker shouldn't install it's plugins into RAD 6 if RAD6 is first, no. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

OK.
I have already installed RAD. Should I uninstall Toolkit5.0.5 first and install Toolkit5.1 ? I am also planning to install CSD6 along with Toolkit5.1.
Any suggestions? _________________ Vivek

Oh, sorry.
I wouldn't install Toolkit 5.1 at all.
Erm. Let me elaborate.
I didn't see that you were looking to install 5.1 instead of 5.0.x.
5.1, as far as I know, only works with WSADIE.
I have not installed 5.1 alongside RAD 6 - merely 5.0.x. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
