Hi,

We have migrated lots of flows from V2.1 to V5 but until recently have been deploying these to V2.1 brokers with 2.1 compatible ESQL selected when building the projects.

However, when deploying V5 ESQL (to V5 brokers) we have found that our exception handling no longer works! Debugging shows that even when a duff message (too short or too long) is chucked through the flow the parser will happily notice this and pad or trim the message, rather than throwing an exception.

We'll investigate further as soon as we have time but in the meantime has anyone else seen this kind of behaviour?

Thanks,
Vicky
