Guys,
I'm trying to install MQSeries on Sun Solaris and I'm not sure what components I need. I'm not using any client connections. I was not sure about what this DCE actually is? Do I need to install that? Also If I'm going to be using MQ Base Java what are the packages which I'm going to need. The order of the packages is as follows. Can anyone suggest me what I need? Thank you very much.

RunTime component
Base
Server
MQSeries Clients
DCE Support
DCE Samples
mqlink
MQSeries Online Documentation
MQSeries Internet Gateway
Man
Samples
MQSeries code

Install the following:

RunTime component
Base
Server
MQSeries Clients
MQSeries Online Documentation
Man
Samples
MQSeries code

For Java, download and install the MA88 Support Pac:

http://www-4.ibm.com/software/ts/mqseries/txppacs/ma88.html

Ensure that you download the Solaris version for your environment.

Do NOT install DCE unless you are 110% sure that you are running DCE... VERY likely that you are not.
