Hello,
i have a linux box with a MQ 6.0 trial installed and a queue manager working on it. I have just bought the commercial version and i'm going to install it.

I would like to keep my actual queue manager working, is that possible?
Will the commercial version overwrite the trial version's directories?
If so...can i backup the queue manager files and copy them again on the /mqm/qmgrs/ directory after the installation?

Just run the uninstallation process.

This never deletes qmgrs.

Then run the installation process.

In other words, you don't need to worry about /var/mqm/qmgrs.

But you certainly could back it up before you did this, just in case.
