Hi,
I have two machines with IBM Mq-Series 5.3.0 configured as one machine server (situated at remote location) and other receiver (at my place).
Problem faced is if my receiver machine is down for more than a day (at weekends), data is received by server during this period and when I boot receiver, I dont receive any of these messages.
What are the properties that I should adjust on server so that I don't miss any message?
Also how can I implement fail-over for the server MQ?
thanks in advance |

Hi,
What exactly happens to those messages? Are they stucking in the transmit queue? Or do they simply get lost?
If they simply get lost, set NPMSPEED to normal. Or make sure that persistent messages get sent.
Also check whether the messages have an expiry set.
cheers
