i have compiled the amqsput0.c program but while executing the output of the compiled program using the following syntax
gcc -Wall -lmqic amqsput0.c

./a.out QM1.LOCAL.1 QM1
where QM1.LOCAL.1 is the local queue name and QM1 is the queue manager name.

i am getting an error of
2058 0x0000080a MQRC_Q_MGR_NAME_ERROR

but if i run the program from the bin directory using amqsput command, im able to put the value into the queue specified. how to compile and execute the amqsput0.c program???please help

You have built your app with the client library -lmqic, not the server library -lmqm.

The procedure for building an executable program is in the APG manual.

what plattform? you may have heard that there are different kinds of computers.

is the way you compiled the program the recommended way described in the application programmers guide?

are you sure you want to use the client library?
