Hi all,

I am wondering if it is possible to intercommunicate among Websphere MQs in a pub/sub way. Particularly, one queue manager acts as a broker and others act as clients?

I am kinda lazy to search over the forum, so sorry for any convenience caused if the question has been asked.

Cheers,

Trung

Well, maybe we're to lazy to bother replying then.

Or too busy to help someone who can't be bothered to help himself.

Cheers,

Then you really didn't search very well.

You apparently didn't even look for any manuals

Yes, it could be. If I could find it myself, there'd be no need to post a thread here.

Links to the related posts would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for the URL. My mistake not to look at the lastest manuals, it seems Websphere MQ Publish/Subscribe User's Guide would be great help but I've not found the answer yet.

But searching for information on the Internet is practically a basic skill these days, and we're certainly not here to help you with that.

And yet, your question was "I am wondering if it is possible to intercommunicate among Websphere MQs in a pub/sub way".

If the mere existance of a manual ABOUT pub/sub doesn't tell you the answer to that, then I don't think anyone here can help you.

Just a question to ask, I came to this forum because I believe there're many experts could help me out, not to criticise. And it doesn't matter at all if there's no answers for this thread.

The second part of my question is missing in your quote: "Particularly, one queue manager acts as a broker and others act as clients"

My native language is not English, my question is not getting into the point which I want to ask.
Therefore, this thread is filled with wrong discussions.
I'll post in a new thread.

see ch. 2 of this manual...

http://www.elink.ibmlink.ibm.com/public/applications/publications/cgibin/pbi.cgi?CTY=US&FNC=SRX&PBL=SC34660600

specifically broker networks which allows for subscribers to be anywhere within the MQ network.

@ashoon: Thanks for the suggestion. Broker network definitely is one of the solution.
What I'd like to experiement is to deploy distributed MQs with only one broker and following pub/sub model.

You might be interested in looking at the problem which I described at
