i created a queue manager using control command in mqseries in the linux environment..i created a queue and i started it .when i am using the amqsput command to insert into the queue i am getting the error as

MQCONN ended with reason code 2059
how am i to overcome this error???please help

Listener would not come into play for amqsput.

type dspmq from the command line and post the output so we can verify what QMs you have running.

Then type what you are doing for amqsput. Odds are you are not specifying the QM name, and you don't have a Default QM defined for the system, or if you do, its not started.
