Hi,

I have MQ Server Installed on 2 AIX machine (Say MQS1 and MQS2). Also, I have MQ client installed on 4 other AIX machine (Say MQC1, MQC2, MQC3, MQC4), through which my application is supposed to send message to the server.

I have following questions:

1. How can I generate AMQCLCHL.TAB file for connection from MQS1 to MQC1-4

2. If I need to change the IP of MQS1 for some reason, how can I regenerate the TAB file again

3. What else I need to do, apart from changing TAB file, if I need to connect MQS2 from MQC1-4 now

A detailed answer will be highly appreciated. I'm neck deep into trouble.

Thanks,

Hello to Sweden,

Is it true that there are only beautiful girls in Sweden? I heared some roomers.

1. Create Client connection channels at your queue manager that point to a SVRCONN (They need to have the same name) channel on the desired queue manager. You will find the tab somewhere in your mq directory.

2. It will be regenerated AFAIK, if you change those client connection channels

3. Don't forget to set the environment variables and discard MQSERVER variables that are maybe there.

Hope this was detailed enough

cheers

Sebastian
