PORTAL SERVER communicating with WORKFLOW SERVER


You are probably aware, the User Assignment portlet application (using JMS) communicates with workflow to start a workflow process. Here is what I found with using JMS:

1) Communication with local queue – no problem

2) Communication with remote queue – no problem

3) Communication with alias queue that points to a local queue of another queue manager – no problem

4) Communication with alias queue that points to an alias queue of another queue manager – problem! (PORTAL_TOFMC -> FMC.FMCGRP.FMCSYS.EXE.XML -> EXEXMLINPUTQ)



This is the error message I get: javax.jms.InvalidDestinationException: MQJMS2008: failed to open MQ queue PORTAL_TOFMC

Could anyone please help me on what could possible be the problem, and a workaround to it?
