We keep a CVS version of our .fdls in case the BT database gets corrupted or out of sync. This happened for various reasons and we needed to refresh our WF environment.
Importing the .fdl from CVS into the RT environment led to no errors and no warnings. However, trying to import back to BT threw no errors, but hundreds of warnings:
FMC21922W Data mapping from '<Data Structure>:<Element>' to '<Data Structure>:<Element>' cannot be saved because target data structure or target data member does not exist.
From what I can tell, all manually mapped elements have this problem.
Is there any reason that it would work fine in RT and not in BT? I am simply using the import tab in BT, entering the filename and checking Overwrite. |

I remember seeing this error. I think I solved it by moving the datastructures above the Process definition in the FDL. _________________ -Ratan |

I agree with what Ratan says... another way to solve would be if you do your backups of the FDL using the DEEP option at the process level. _________________ John McDonald

We usually do a full export of process before we check them in. Turns out that the last time it was done, the person missed exporting deep. Thanks. |
