Hi ,

I need help in understanding the filter syntax. Is there a place where I can find some examples.

I know of no place where there are examples. Only the doc in the manuals. IIRC it is found with the appropriate create...List() method.

There may be a few examples scattered about the best practices and the production considerations, but not more than 1 or 2 for sure.

The Programming Guide contains abstract filter syntax descriptions for all kind of filters. If you use the WebClient you can create syntactical correct filters. With MQWF 3.6 the filter syntax error message has been improved and gives you a clue what is going wrong.
