If I was going to MQ v6 this question would be easy to answer. Channel Table!

But, if I have a client connection and multiple servers what is the acceptable method to code failover connection attempts in the Java program simular to what a Client channel offers. Does this change when you use JNDI?

My suggestion:
Have a list of QCF's defined in JNDI with a priority.
Walk through it until you get a viable connection.
