Hello there I am using MQ 5.3 on MSCS , I am trying to configure the security for QM and doing the following :
V:\mqm\scripts>setmqaut -t qmgr -p userID +connect +allmqi
AMQ7028: The queue manager is not available for use.
eventhough I have the QM running , I am not sure why it is saying the QM not available . Can somone advice please ?

Usage: setmqaut -m QMgrName [-n ObjName] -t ObjType [-p Principal | -g Group]
[-s ServiceName] Authorizations
You should see if the qm is indeed the default, and since I vaguely remember there are some probs with def qmgrs on clusters, you should try and specify the name using -m.
Otherwise, as mik said, either qm is down or has been failedover to the other server... |
