can anyone tell what are the parameters to define in .odbc.ini file to connect to a remote DB2 database.Broker box is on AIX and database is also on AIX.

its very urgent can any one help.

Ask your DBA.

All that Broker cares about is that the ODBC definition works. It doesn't know any different between a local db and remote db.

Also, read the fine manual. It's pretty extensively documented.
