hi friends
i have a problem with my mq explorer. i have all the authorizations configured properly. i can access objects from command prompt but when i try to access them from explorer it gives me authorization error.
i have mq 5.3 for windows(server) CSD10
can u help me?

Read the manual about administration...
Maybe you are missing authorizations to access the command server queue, or wrong mcauser on channel ? ...

thanx for ur prompt reply
i am accessing the server locally. logged on as local user. i am not trying to send any messages or starting channel. i simply cannot expand the anything in explorer. i can do anything i want through commnad prompt like creating, deleting QMs, creating or starting channels, altering objects and putting or getting.
any suggestions?

Are you member of the mqm group on the server machine?
Remember MQ does not deal with embedded groups
What id is the listener running under ?

yes i am member of mqm group and that has admin rights.
the listener on this m/c is under the same id. |
