If by "change of tree structure" you mean "contains different elements", then yes - and the different elements would be exactly and specifically the different elements that the parser knows about, and are clearly documented either in the documentation on the parser or the documentation on the data that the parser, um, parses.
If by "change of tree structure" you mean "elements have a different nature and are made up of different things", then no.
All components of the logical message tree are modellable by, for example, the MbNode class in the Broker Plugin API for Java.
