Dear

I installed MQ Server Version 5.3 to 2 machine
One Queue Manager has

Coded character Set ID =1258 (Vietnamese)

other

Coded Character Set ID =437 (US EngLish)

So It can't establish channel (Sender -Receiver )

I think Coded character set ID (CCSID) depend on windows.
I want change CCSID for MQ Manager but I don't know the way to change it.
Any one can help me

To change the queue managers CCSID, open a runmqsc against your queue manager and use

ALTER QMGR CCSID(<your value>)

after that you have to restart the queue manager.

You should be able to run a channel between to QMs with different CCSIDs.

AFAIK, not al of them work together, though. For example some of the cyrylic char sets do not work together with the western european ones.
