I have WMQI 2.1 with DB2 7.1 and an AIX broker up and running.

I now have an application requirment to update MS SQL Server databases, so I downloaded an eval copy the DataDirect 'Connect ODBC' drivers and I have a couple of questions :

1- Can I mix and match ODBC drivers? i.e. can I keep on using the MQSI supplied Merant DB2 odbc driver and use the datadirect MS SQL Server odbc driver at the same time? This seems a little tricky, if at all possible, with a single .odbc.ini file. The alternative is to exclusively use the Datadirect drivers for both DB2 ( Broker Databse ) and SQL Server ( Appliaction database ) .

2- Are all parameters in the [odbc] stanza also definable at the Datasource level? i.e. can I have an installdir= and tracedll= etc... defined on the Datasource level ?

Hi, I also have a requirement ( silmilar to yours ) that I have to update a remote SQL Server database. I am wondering how you resolved your issue. If it is reolved could you please post here the solution you have adopted.
