Quest Diagnostics is the largest provider of diagnostic testing and information services- to both healthcare and consumers. Annual sales are over $5 billion. We partner with major drug, biotech and IT companies, in helping support new therapeutics as well as leading technology.
We are looking for a senior Unix administrator for our Lyndhurst NJ or Valley Forge PA facilities. You will provide technical system administration expertise involving UNIX servers running Websphere MQ and database applications.
Experience needed:
5+ years experience working in large production environment installing, configuring, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting Webshpere MQ, Message Broker and Service Brokers. Installing Application & Technical Adapters. IBM training certification preferred. Experience with AIX V5.2 and V5.3 systems including partition management and HACMP configurations. Senior level technical project management skills. Experience assisting on WebSphere MQ on HP-UX, Windows, OpenVMS, Z/OS, and Tandem platforms Webshere MQ programming and scripting experience desired. Ability to develop production support processes and documentation including automated monitoring methods
System administration and business process knowledge in the designing & deploying high-availability middleware transaction and data transformation solutions using IBM WebShere MQ and Message Broker software
