Hello everybody,
I have installed the Mq v 5.3 server on Linux Red Hat 3.0 advanced server, when I attempt to create a queue manager with crtmqm command, i got the next error:
AMQ6162: An error has occurred reading an INI file.
I have verified the permission for the mqs.ini, the own is mqm, group mqm and permission are rwxrwxr x, I set the globally variable LD_ASSUME_KERNEL to 2.4.19, I don't know what more else have to do.
Can you help me please

Make sure you don't run the command as root.
Try it as mqm....!
Can you display the contents of /var/mqm/mqs.ini ?

Can you ensure that mqm has all necessary permissions to /var/mqm/ and everything under it?
It would also help if you could post the first section of the FDC file. But I wonder if mqm can't write to /var/mqm/qmgrs/ to create the filesystems and the qm.ini. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

So that's definitely a permissions error with mqs.ini.
What are the permissions on /var/mqm? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

AMQ8101: WebSphere MQ error (893) has occurred.
The next is the error in error directory

Maybe you will have to export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL and make sure it is done properly.
I know you mentioned you did it earlier, but is it still visible? |
