ALl,
I have a problem of logging the content of every message that went through the receiver channel. I have written an exit program to log all the messages on the receiver channel. But when I tried to log the content of the receiver from OS 390 mq series queue the data is still in the EBCDIC format. I can get the messages once it passes this exit program by using MQ_GMO_CONVERT option.

My question is, is there any way to convert the EBCDIC format data in the exit program to log it as the text ascii string.

This is of high priority and will be missing a deadline if not done in next two days. ANy help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Srinivas

On the OS/390 sender channel specify CONVERT(YES).

This is not a generally recommended practice though.
