I am doing some DR testing in a Windows 2000 environment and trying to write a simple DOS script to start the Queue Managers after a backup is performed.
When starting the QM with strmqm and the listeners with endmqlsr -m, the Channel Initiator does not start. According to IBM, the Channel Initiator should start when the QM starts. I am running MQ v 5.3 CSD 8.

Thanks,
Steve

I am sure some moderator will move this message to an appropriate forum, as this isn't a WBIMB question.

Did you create the qmgr using crtmqm? Or did you use MQExplorer?

If you used MQExplorer, you should use amqmdain, not strmqm/endmqm.

Perhaps this was a typo, but you don't start listeners with the endmqlsr command.

Thanks for the help. The amqmdain command was the resoultion...As for the typo, you are correct. I meant to say runmqlsr...Thanks again.
