Hello,
One of my configurations has FMCDB in a remote machine. A "db2 list db directory" shows it as:
Database alias = FDBPRDCH
Database name = FDBCHL
Node name = DB2REM
Database release level = a.00
Comment =
Directory entry type = Remote
When I use fmczutil I don't have all the options in the database menu, the ones there are:
FMC33206I Selected Runtime Database Commands Menu:
Selected Runtime database : FDBPRDCH
c ... Create
p ... Change password
x ... Exit Selected Runtime Database Commands Menu
How can I do the bind, and the opther options like optimize?
Thanks!

You should be able to do it.
How are you logged in as ? What all groups is this user in?
Do you have a valid configuration? Did you ever start the workflow server? Did it ever work? Can you connect to the database from the workflow server machine?
Another way of doing it is using fmczrdb |

Hello Vennela,
this is in a Windows box. The WF server runks ok, 24 hours a day! No poblem
with that. I can connect to the database from the WF server machine, hmmm... and in fact, when I connect to the database I use a different user! I can be that. My "nomal" windows user does not have db access.
In fact I did not try the fmczrdb, its one option I have.
Thanks for pointing me the "logged on" issue.
Regards
Joao |
