JOB REQUIREMENT
Work Location - Arlington, VA (on metro stop)
6 months to perm
Administer Websphere application servers, IBM Http server, and Oracle application server across different logical environments from development to QA Testing, customer acceptance testing and production.
Assist developers and testers troubleshooting application and system problems
From time to time, also need to handle Solaris operating system issues, such as file/directory permissions, user account, security, job scheduling and so on
Software upgrading, for Solaris OS, Websphere application server, web server, Oracle report server and so on.
Application performance tuning and stress testing
Requirements:
· Must have extensive experience and in depth understanding of multi-tiered enterprise application
· Must have expert level of skills in the following areas: IBM Websphere Application Server, Oracle Report server under Oracle Application Server(OAS), IBM Http server and Apache web server, Solaris operating system and Oracle database
· Knowledge and experience in networking, load-balancing switches and router is highly desirable
· Must have at least 5+ years of full life cycle application development experience and possess good problem analysis and solving skills
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related
