I went two years ago in Las Vegas, and I can say it was definitely worth the trip (though my employer was covering the costs This time around I'm going to have to pay out of my pocket, but considering all the seminars (and the opportunity to take certification exams for free!) it still seems like a good deal. Still mulling it over in my head, but if I do go, I'll definitely want to catch up with you Neil, and anyone else that uses the board as well. I just need to go to Kinko's and print out a bunch of mqseries.net calling cards

Brandon,
you've been in Vegas two years ago? Why haven't me met there...?
Guys, I would LOVE to go, not only because of all the good stuff that has been presented there in the 5 years I've attended, but also to take the chance to meet some of the fine folks on this forum in person for a drink (or three).
Unfortunately, budgetary constraints of my employer make it more or less unlikely for me to go. More more than less, that is. BUMMER!
Maybe I should ask my boss out for lunch today....
If you guys go, enjoy!!
Cheers,
Stefan

I can't make it, but does anyone know if there's an equivalent conference held somewhere here in Europe. |

Speaking of Texas, I saw a very funny bumper sticker the other day. It said:
"American by birth, Texan by the grace of God!"
My favorite thing about Texas is the enormous size of the food portions they serve at restaurants...

Along the same lines at the last posting:
"Wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as soon as I could" |

I won't be at the conference this year, but some of the people that I work with will be - Denise Bailey, Charlie Lindsey, Randy Duncan, Jan Smolenski. My group is the part of IBM that does tech support for Software Vendors. If you run into any of them, say Hi... |
