We have WMQI 2.1 on Z/os

and corresponding configuration manager on a windows box.

We bought a linux box and planning to install WBIMB5.o on that. Can I install configuration manager on the same windows box or I need to install on a different box?

or Can I use already installed configuration manager to connect to Broker for linux?

You can't use a 2.1 configmgr to deploy to a 5.0 broker.

Please go read the Migration guide.
