Hi,

I have an odd problem with a configuration manager
It was connected to two brokers - BRK1 and BRK2

I deleted BRK1 from the topology and did a deploy. It has gone
from the Topology and Assignment view but it is still there in Operations.

If I try to recreate it I get :
BIP1511E: Queue manager 'BRK1' cannot be associated with broker 'BRK1'; already associated with broker 'BRK1'.

Enviroment:

Configuration Manager on Windows XP Professional. WMQI 2.1 CSD6. WMQ 5.3 CSD 5.

Broker: Solaris 8. WMQI 2.1 CSD6. WMQ 5.3 CSD 8

Does anybody know of a way to solve this one? I would like to remove all traces of BRK1.

I have successfully deleted, deployed and recreated BRK2.

after deleting BRK1 in toolkit (you only disconnected the broker from config at this point) , did you run

mqsideletebroker BRK1 -w

(to delete physical broker)?

Ah well.. no. I did and did another deploy. Now it is gone.
