I see these msgs around 12 AM every night and I suspect these are coming from cleanup server.

I am trying to figure out why it is complaining with a participating resource error and what it is unhappy about.
Has some one seen anything like this? _________________ Thanks

Is your DB shutdown during that time too?
What happens if you manually start the cleanup server using fmcautil some other time? |

Sorry guys.
I found the issue. With someone monkeying around the systems here, has overwritten the cleanup server's settings.
I tried to fix it from the fmcautil itself, but it didnt have any option. I had to export the Domain setting FDL, change the schedules for cleanup server and re-import the FDL.
Thanks a lot every one for your inputs. _________________ Thanks

What setttings are you talking about? I would be curious to know how a change in the Cleanup server settings were causing this issue.

When I tried to check the clean up servers setting from fmcautil this is what I found.
Quote: |
Check interval PT5M
- Start mode Deferred
- Server start time not set
- - Cleanup time P1W
- Cleanup delay time PT1H
|
I exported the DOMAIN setting FDL and found something like this
Quote: |
TYPE CLEANUP_SERVER
START_MODE DEFERRED
not set
CHECK_INTERVAL 5 MINUTES
CLEANUP_TIME 7 DAYS
CLEANUP_DELAY_TIME 1 HOURS
|
I am not very sure about which line the words "not set" appeared.
I had to change these and redeploy it. I am not sure that this would stop workflow spitting the error msgs that I posted earlier. I guess I would know it tomorrow morning. _________________ Thanks

It is my opinion that the parameters you are showing could not have been the cause. In addition, it seems that the Cleanup server would not be running at all, based on these parameters.
As you say, you will see tonight. _________________ John McDonald
