Hi,
I'm sure this must have been discussed before but my searching didn't find any posts...
Does anyone know of how we could produce a 'report' or analysis of what will be deployed i.e. changes for a delta deploy - in V2.1 or V5? Has anyone raised this as a requirement with IBM? Or know if it is something that is being worked on?
Our count of deployed flows currently stands at 101 and we are doing lots of NEON migration adding more every day. We still use 2.1 but are moving to V5 over the next few months. As these are all in 1 execution group it is very difficult to be sure one person is deploying only the changes they want.
I don't know of any way to get the Tooling in 5 to show you the delta between what you are deploying and what is currently deployed.
In version 5, though, there are a few things that will help with this problem.
One is the accessability to real source control tools through the Tooling - at least, if you have a compatible plug-in for the Eclipse level that the Tooling is running. This will allow you to tag what was deployed and what will be deployed, and generate the deltas from your repository - where it probably should be pulled from anyway.
The other is the use of the Passthrough node, to provide some simplified labeling capabilities to show what is actually deployed. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
