Hello Gurus,

If I were to be a muppet and accidentally remove (drop) the Oracle broker database in WBIMB before I deleted the broker, what would be the best way of deleting the broker? Could I, for example, simply create a new (empty) database with the same name or edit the registry file to name an extant database being used by another broker and then issue mqsidelete against the broker that I wanted to remove?

Are there any other options?

Have you considered giving the entire machine a good "HIIIIIYAAAAH!!" across the HD?

Is it a common practice for muppets to fail to back up databases?

Try recreating the broker db - empty or full.
