Hi All,

We have WBIMB V 5 CSD 6.

Broker and config are running in separate windows Box. We have decided to upgrade the JRE from 1.3.1 to 1.4.2. By going thru few topics on this forum. I have decided to take JRE 1.3.1 from Broker <installdir> and place it with JRE 1.4.2.

Then I ran a test msgflow and it works fine. But I am getting the following errors in Event viewer.

BIPv500

( HTTPListener ) Java exception caught via the JNI from the HTTPListener.initialize class: exception text 'java.lang.NullPointerException'.

This may be an internal error, possibly due to a faulty installation. Review of the exception text may indicate a solution.

Stop the broker and if the exception text does not allow you to solve the problem then you should contact your IBM support center.

BIPv500

( HTTPListener ) Unexpected exception in ConfigurationManager class constructor method; exception text: 'java.lang.ClassCastException: sun.util.calendar.ZoneInfo', 'sun.util.calendar.ZoneInfo'.

An exception was caught by the ConfigurationManager class constructor method while the Configuration Manager was being started or stopped. The exception text is: java.lang.ClassCastException: sun.util.calendar.ZoneInfo, sun.util.calendar.ZoneInfo.

Retry the operation. If the exception still occurs, contact your IBM support center.

I think JNI is not supported in Broker. As I'm not sure.

Do I have to specify any CLASSPATH or PATH?

Any suggestions to get rid of this problem.

Guys,

The problem is with the config manager in the other Windows Box which is using Sun Java.I have changed the path to IBM JDK 1.4.2. Now I'm not getting errors.

I hope the problem is solved and no more errors.
