I run the middleware team for Schroders based in London and I am currently searching for someone to provide middleware administration and support.
This is a busy and varied technical role focussed on middleware infrastructure support and administration using the WMQ/WMQI product set on a Solaris/Oracle broker hub, although we are currently migrating to WBIMB so experience in this area would be beneficial.
The role would suit someone with perhaps a couple of years WMQ experience, who has had a broad (but not necessarily deep) exposure to a variety of different technologies. Our infrastructure has around 40 servers, utilises many different and interesting technologies and the WMQI hub processes around 1 million messages per day. We integrate 35 applications and 8 third parties, so there is plenty to learn and get involved with, and a well defined career path.
The working environment is relaxed and friendly, we offer a competitive salary together with an on-call allowance and a generous benefits package.
Please direct CVs together with salary expectations to stuart.whitfield@schroders.com |

I don't think sponsorship is available.
In US Big corporates are not sponsoring eventhough it is easy and cakewalk for them
Same is the Situation in UK too. |

With regard to sponsoring, this is something we'd only look at as a last resort I'm afraid. |
