A couple of quick questions on WBI Modeler v4.2.4 (hopefully easy to
answer, but I can't find the information quickly!)

1. Can business measures be set up based on container values, for
elements that have been defined as business data relevant to the process
/ activity?

e.g. we want to set a 'Userid' parameter in the Workflow data container.
Can we then set up reports to show how many Activities are in a
'Running' state per unique Userid?
NB The userid is NOT linked to the workflow UserID

2. Can Monitor v4.2.4 report on total volumes of work outstanding for
logical groups of business users?

e.g. number of work items in a 'Ready' state for a particular Organisational
Unit ? (or Role)?

Final question:
3. Can you view a process diagram, similar to the Workflow dashboard
process view, but one that shows the total state of all such processes.

e.g. to be able to see, on a diagram, the number of activities in a certain
state (e.g. Ready, Running) ?
Also, can you take that further by showing historical statistics such as
average elapsed time under each Activity ?

Thanks,
Nick

The answer for this one is yes.

Yes.This can be done in business dashboard

I am not sure if this can be done directly with the existing monitor client. This is because i think you are only allowed to pick just one process and get the diagrm for this process. The one you are asking probbaly may be a customization.
Regarding historical statistics , you can get the same for a particular process and drill down to get the elapsed time for each activity.

Thanks
Karthik

Thanks Karthik.

I also think the process view is only for one process instance. It wouold be nice to see otherwise - I wonder if it is possible by completing the loop by taking the Monitor information back into Modeler and viewing some historical statistics from there.

The information I'm after should be available in standard reports, but it would have been nice to see it mapped onto the process diagram

cheers,
Nick
