We dump all of our Audit messages to a queue and process those with a UPES. What would happen if that queue reached its max limit? Would workflow shutdown?
As a more generic question what happens when any queue reaches its max limit? |

It depends on whether the queue is LOCAL or whether the queue is on a different case. Assuming that the queue is LOCAL, you get a QUEUE full error.
If the AUDIT queue is remote, then workflow server might continue to put bu the message might go to the DLQ. |

It is my opinion that if a queue reached its maximum depth that workflow would shut down. I think that this would be the safest thing to do, so that is my reasoning, I do not know that this is the case. _________________ John McDonald

It is the case. A failure when putting a message on a queue is considered as a fatal error and brings the system down. MQWF must not loose any server messages. |
