post wortkflow installation when running the fmczutil I get connection to db but for some reason it tries to connect again and it fails.
I check the the trace log and this is what I get:
ORACLE XA: Version 9.2.0.1.0. RM name = 'Oracle_XA'.
140309.413820.1:
xaolog: Could not open file in directory /u011001/app/oracle/product/9.2.0/rdbms/log
ORACLE XA: Version 9.2.0.1.0. RM name = 'Oracle_XA'.
140309.413820.1:
ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
what is the id that should access db and why is trying to access it more than once. Where should this id exist and with what permissions?
140309.413820.1:
xaolgn: XAER_INVAL; logon denied.

From the installation guide:

Oracle Enterprise Edition Version 8.1.7.1 or 9.2.0 (32 bit support libraries only). Version 9.0.1 is deprecated because Oracle no longer provides service for |
From your post looks like you are using 64 bit. I don't think that works unless the new service pack supports it. |

yes, I'm aware about the 32-bit libraries. We this issue with IBM and they say that it should not matter. Also, we have the same setup in another environment and it works fine.
please explain to me why we are having multiple connection to the database? My understanding was that we only needed the initial connection.
why are we trying to connect for a second time, and if so, is it the same userid as the first connection? |
