We need to use MQSI pub/Sub using JMS as front-end application. When JMS sending messages to MQSI, it sending only MQRFH format (MQPSCommand etc..) But when we are working with MQSI Broker, MQSI needs RFH2 header. Is there any way to configure JMS to send RFH2 for Pub/Sub?
Thanks,
- Murthy

See the whole chapter on integrating IBM MQ JMS PubSub with WMQI in the Using Java manual.

I was looking at the Book Using Java, but it does not say any thing about what should be the RFH2 header for PUB/Sub using MQSI. We are able to do pub/Sub using <PSC> commands. But when integrating with JMS we are running into problems as JMS is sending RFh Header only. Is there any way in JMS to get <psc> folders in RFh2 header?.
With RFH header MQSI Broker working differently. When JMS send subscription message, MQSI201 broker creates Topic under Message Flow Name, some thing like this, $SYS/STREAM/MessageFlowName/TopicName/SubTopicName.
We are looking for TopicName/SubTopicName.
Another question is should we continue to use RFh when RFH2 header provides better features like SubscriptionPoint etc.
Thanks,
- Murthy

Hi,

better way is to use RFH2 intead of RFH because you can use Subscription Point
these are mainly usefull when you have pub-sub of the Legacy sytems like V.B Publisher & Java is the Subscriber or between JMS & Java

GoodLuck
