I have a problem starting JDBC 2.6 adapter with broker as WBIMB on AIX.During the installation,I did not the check the box for the broker type InterChangeServer. As far as the installation for WBIMB as Broker,is there anything else other than this I need to do?
When I start up the connector by entering command
connector_manager -start -"Name of WBIMB Broker",In the log file I see error message 'Add InterChangeSystem.cfg into your adapters folder'.I know this is required for ICS but I dont understand why I require this for WBIMB.I know I am missing something.Any inputs are greatly appreciated. |

Finally resolved this problem.
While starting the connector,The syntax we need to follow is,
connector_manager -start 'CONNAME' 'BROKERNAME' -c'CONFIGFILE'.
The thing I was missing before was giving 'C' before Configfile. What I think is,If we did not mention 'C',by default its going treat as ICS Server and going to throw the error.'Add InterChangeSystem.cfg into your adapters folder'.
I figured out this from the installation document

Note: For a WebSphere message broker or WebSphere Application Server on a Windows system, you must include the -c option followed by the name of the connector configuration file. For ICS, the -c is optional. |
